Sneaky, Sneaky, Sneaky

I found this location and just could not wait to take pictures there. While I was waiting on this great family to get there so we could take their family pictures, I was informed that there is a fee to use this location of $500!!!!!! I just about fell over from a heart attack. This place is gorgeous, but not for $500. I asked her if we could just take a few pics here and there on the grounds. After much begging, she said that she would act like she did not see us. Well, we took advantage of that and snuck all around the grounds. It is a Gorgeous place!!!

After taking pictures of these precious girls, I was excited to take their family pictures! It started out like all of my am sessions this time of the year, chilly! With blankets and jackets in tow, we tried to find the warm sunny spots and we were in luck! By the time we were finished, we were getting warmed up. It was a blast getting to capture this family! They are wonderful people!!!!!

Pretty in Pink

Oh my this gorgeous girl is definitely Pretty in Pink!!! I brought along my hot pink boa to her Senior session, just in case she might want to use it! I am glad I did. She wears it well. She had fun getting to just be herself in the pictures!

We had some slips along the way, well I had a slip in the creek! I have to keep my clients entertained!! Mrs. A was such a great model and her personality shines through in her pictures. We used multiple locations for her session, and had fun at each one. I think my favorite was the railroad tracks! She really got to open up and show off!

It was a pleasure spending time with you! I pray that God blesses you!!!! I look forward to your graduation session and meeting the rest of your family!

So grown up

Teresa, I just can not believe how much you have grown up in the 6 years we have know you!!! To watch you transform into a beautiful young lady has been a privilege!! I had fun with you and your friends in Ft Worth at your shoot!! You have such a great group of friends. Just wish that Lauren could have been there with us.

I hope that we are able to still see your smiling face around the house after you graduate. Life is an open door for you and I pray that it is filled with love and happiness! You CAN be anything you want to be. Big HUGS!!!!!

Such a sweet family!

This family was such a joy to be around! The girls are super spunky and the little boy is just way to precious!!! I could have snuck him in my camera bag and ran off with him. What a gorgeous family I had the pleasure of being around.

We fought the morning chill for most of the session, but right at the end it started warming up and I really started to see some personalities. I will be glad when we are fully into spring and do not have such chilly mornings. Sure does make it hard on the little ones.

Thank you so much for letting me be in your space!!! Oh Nana, you are the best cheerleader ever!!!!!!!!!

There is never a dull moment!!!

You Make Me Laugh

I had the most fun with this mother and her 4 children!!!!! Our session started out with goose bumps and sweaters, but that did not stop us. We just kept on going and it turned out to be a beautiful morning.

Each one of these kids have their own, very different, personalities. It was so much fun capturing each one in action. Every time I turned around they were doing something to make me laugh. We even got busted trying to climb a tree!!!

Going back through these pictures put the biggest smile on my face. That is the great thing about pictures and why I love what I do so much!!! You look at a simple picture and a whole day of memories comes to mind!!! Smiles, laughter and all!!!

I hope you can enjoy these as much as I do.

Stubborn Already

Living in Texas, you can never depend on the weather. No matter what the news or internet says about it, with a moments notice it can change. We were expecting bright sunny skies, but instead we were met with gloomy, rainy skies. We were determined not to let that hold us back from getting some great pregnant belly shots!!!

We were not sure if this sweet prego mamma was going to make it to her session. Well, she has been walking around just about to have the baby for another 2 weeks now! She has tried everything to get her precious little princess here, but that princess just is not ready.

So we wait in anticipation to meet her. While we wait, we get to admire her in her mamma's belly.

Almost There

I have known this senior for about 7 years now. We moved in across the street from them many years ago. He and Shaw hit it off instantly!! They would play Army Men all day long! When we moved away, I still kept in touch with his mother.

When she asked me to take his Senior Pictures, I was honored. It was exciting getting to see this kid all grown up. Gosh, it is so hard to believe that those two scrawny little kids are all grown up and about to graduate. Time sure does fly by, way to fast. I still remember the first time I met Tristan, just like it was yesterday.

Good luck Tristan. I pray that life treats you well. You deserve it!
