Beautiful Bluebonnets

I am telling you, there is nothing like the smell of Bluebonnets on a cool spring afternoon! Well, having your two little munchkins in those Bluebonnets, can top it!!!

We had so much fun running around and trying to find ladybugs in the field. That was the only thing I could do to get the princess to touch them!!!

There is still time to schedule your session in the Bluebonnets! I am offering mini's on your schedule!! Got 20 minutes, then we can have some fun! Give me a call to get all the details.

Messy Eater

This was such a great session for me!!! I met Princess M when she was 9 days old. It is hard to believe that has already been a year ago. Over this past year, I have had the pleasure of capturing her growth. She is one of my Precious Angels!!!

I work so hard to get this little one to smile for me, but at 4 months, she just refused, then at 8 months she gave me a crack of a smile. Her 1 year session, I was warned that when the camera comes around she just refuses. Well, I did not have any problems at all. We laughed, and she smiled and was such a ham for me!!

When we got to the Smash The Cake part of our session, she was not so sure. She picked and poked at the cake and was just intent on enjoying the polka dots. Well, that's no fun, so I grabbed her little hand and smashed it into the cake!!! Then went the foot. Needless to say, she needed a bath afterwards!!! Good times, good times..

It has been such a pleasure watching you grow and change so much over your first year Princess M!!!! I pray that your life is blessed with lots of happiness.

Frozen Little Man

Did I really see 31 degrees on the thermostat in the car when I pulled up to this session??? YEP! Mom, grandma, and sweet baby boy, all ventured to the park on this sunny morning for a session. We were all freezing but he was too busy smiling and drooling to even notice. We got in a few games of peek-a-boo and lots of snaps before he let us know he was done.

We all lasted about 20 minutes before we were completely frozen. He was just way too cute and such a trooper!!!

I look forward to your birthday session sweet M. We will have warmer weather and lots of fun....

Almost There

Princess B... I can not believe that you are pulling yourself up and standing. Gosh, it seems like just yesterday we were having fun with your newborn session. The past 8 months have flown by. You are such a sweetie, especially when you smile at me!!!

I had so much fun playing with you at the Stockyards. It was great to get you outside for a session and watch you explore. I know it was cold and your poor little nose was soo red, thank goodness for touch ups.

As much as your parents are not looking forward to your first birthday, I know I sure am. I have a princess session planned for you! Keep practicing your smiles.

Power Napper

Little N..... You just do not like to smile when the camera gets close to you!!! It doesn't help when I try to get you to smile and you are tired and hungry. Once you were fed, and fell asleep, I got to have fun with you. 20 minutes into your nap, you woke up and were full of smiles. I can't say I have ever seen a 6 month old power nap the way you do...

I just love watching these little ones grow up. From newborn to 6 months, they change so much. I look forward to your 1 year birthday, so we can make a huge mess.

Sweet Sleeping Princess

I just love newborn sessions!!! I get to snuggle and cuddle and play with one of God's amazing gifts. When they start fussing and crying I just hand them right back over to their mom. No late nights with no sleep for me!! I do feel bad for the mom's though. I have had my fair share of those nights and they are worth every single one.

Yesterday I got to play with this sweet princess. She was the greatest little thing and slept most of the session. She didn't mind me molding her into crazy positions and moving her here and there. She even let me stuff her into a stocking!!! I had such a great time capturing this day in her new life.

Sweet Sweet M! I pray that God blesses you with a life full of love and laughter. I look forward to watching you change and grow over the next year. Merry Christmas!

Bundles of Energy

To have the energy of a child!!!! These 3 sweeties kept me running. Actually, two of them literally had me running all over the park. I just love watching little ones run and play and enjoy life with no worries. Capturing the joy and the freedom is one of the best parts of my job.

The two oldest of this trio are the aunt and uncle of the baby!! Yep, I said that right. What a great experience to get to grow up together with your niece!! They have a lifetime of memories ahead of them.

Thank you Toni for sharing your babies with me!!! I know that I will get to see them grow up and become amazing adults. Your family has always been such a big part of my life and I love each of you!!!

Two little cuties!

These two sisters were so cute. One was so ready for the camera, and the other would have NOTHING to do with it!! Both mom and I got a workout. Ms. C was all over the place and interested in everything. Ms. E was such a champ! Put these two together in the same space for a picture and well, they would have nothing of it.

Going back and editing these pictures, I laughed so hard. So much rambunctious energy packed into one cute little body. Momma, you got your hands full. You are an amazing momma with those two cutie pies!! I loved watching you interact with them and play with them. You are so very blessed.

Giggles, Bubbles & Slobber

I had the pleasure of spending time with a super cute chunk. We had so much fun. He was all smiles until that stinkin' camera would appear! I just love it when little ones are like that. Trying to get them to smile becomes a game, and if I get a crack of one, I am super excited. I get to play and be extremely silly and laughed at by all in sight.

I tried out some new leggie things on this cutie pie along with some hats. Mom and I laughed so hard. He looked so darn cute!!!!! He was such a sport and just blew bubbles and slobbered the whole time. We could have just left him in his b-day suit and he would have been perfectly happy.

This little guy and I are going to get to really know each other the rest of his first year! I am excited to see the changes in him over the next 8 months.

You are really a super chunky cutie Mr. M! Thank you for the laughs!

4 Months Already

Oh my goodness how time flies! It seems like just yesterday I was holding this precious little angel for her newborn session. Now Princess B is 4 months!!! She is such a little cutie and has her daddy wrapped! I warned him during her newborn session :)

Princess B was being such a mess. She would laugh and smile at me until I put the camera to my face, then I would get cries and not happy looks. She does not like the camera at all. With mom and dad helping out, we were able to get some really cute shots of her.

I bet that little stinker was full of smiles when I left. That's ok, I will grab some cute smiles at her 8 month session.

A Beautiful Day

Ahhh, beautiful weather! I love it when the mornings are just a tad bit cool and you know that Fall is just around the corner. We had one of these mornings. Too bad the cool breeze didn't last the entire session, but it sure did make for a great start.

I had the pleasure of playing with one of my Precious Angels for her 8 month session. M is such a cutie and has such a personality. You get the camera in front of her and she refuses to smile. It was so cute, she kept sucking her bottom lip in with a look like, you are not going to get me to smile!!! I laughed so hard at her.

I look forward to her One Year pictures!! We are going to have some fun with cake!

Caught in the weather

When this beautiful friend of mine asked me to take her family pictures, I was delighted. She has passed her beauty on to her kids!!!!! It took a couple of reschedules to get everyone's schedule to match up. One off in college, two in high school, and a little princess, makes gathering all at the same time hard, but we got it accomplished :)

We got to Trinity Park and not long after we got started, the wind kicked up and the clouds rolled in. It sprinkled on us enough to make us stop. I was so bummed. We decided to run over to the Botanic Gardens to wait it out and try some pictures there as well. The weather decided to cooperate a little and we got some great shots before dark!

Little Ms. EG was so super spunky and cute. I hope to spend some one on one time with this little princess to capture more of that personality!!!

Thank you my dear friend!!! I love you bunches.....

The Sweet Smell of Baby

I just love the way babies smell! They have that aroma about them that just makes them snuggly sweet.

I had the opportunity to enjoy that smell with a precious baby boy! Baby N was only 15 days old and just the sweetest thing. He was sleeping sound when I got there, by the time I was set up and ready to go, he was wide awake! I was able to capture some open eye shots of him before it was time for him to eat. Just when we thought we had him rocked back to sleep, that little stinker was up again. Those little eyes would pop open at me, and I would smile from ear to ear.

Boy did I have fun, though, when he was out! His mommy sat and watched us play. I know the feeling of relaxation when they are that little and someone else has them for even the smallest amount of time!

Thank you for letting me capture baby N! I look forward to watching him grow over the next year.
